Francis HW

Sire: Furst Nymphenburg

Dam: By Rotspon

DOB: 2012

Breeding: Hanoverian

Height: 16.3h

Francis HW was imported as a 4 yr old and has been shown from Training level to Grand Prix. He is a gelding standing 17.1h by Furst Nymphenburg x Rotspon and has scored nearly 70% at all levels to I-2. Fenn was a super boy under Friday night lights for the Challenge of Americas for two years in a row and loves the special attention of his person.

He would be happiest as a small tour horse. The sweetest most snuggly fellow on the ground. Needs a confident rider with a hot seat as he is not one that will take a nagging leg. We love Francis and hope to find him a perfect person for his next chapter. Fenn as we call him in the barn loves his main pulled, grooming, bathes, and is good to load and trailer.

SIRE: Furst Nymphenburg ( Florencio x Deniro)

Performance
It is the combination of brilliant movements, highest rideability and best character which make Fürst Nymphenburg a very valuable breeder. He is stationed at Landgestüt Celle and was called the 1st Reserve Champion of the dressage slot at Verden in 2007 and confirmed this assessment with serial wins in young riding horse classes with Wolfhard Witte.

As Hanoveranian Vice riding Champion he was part of the Bundeschampionat 2008 where he received great marks (8.5 for exterior, 8.0 for each canter, training, and presentation) and became 9th.

Subsequently he superiorly won the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf where he decided the dressage index with 147.23 points.

Carefully developed the stallion always showed high motivation and proved his quality as a dressage horse in Germany whilst being in breeding.

Today he can look back to many placings and victories in class S (GER) and was qualified for the finals of the Nürnberger Burgpokal in 2014. In 2015 he achieved first successes in short-grand-prix.

Pedigree
His sire Florencio I was Westfalion Champion and Vice Champion at the Bundeschampionat of the four-year-old stallions in 2003. In 2004 he secured the Dutch Pavo-Cup with Hans-Peter Minderhoud/NED and won the World Cup of Young Horses of the five-year-olds in Verden with a record-breaking result: A total of 9.8 where the canter was marked with a 10. In 2005 he defended his title in the six-year-old class. Florencio I became the dressage main premium winner in Oldenburg in 2004. Meanwhile, placings in advanced dressage levels are recorded. More than 30 sons received the breeding permission including the 2nd Reserve Champion Fackeltanz OLD.

Numerous foals and riding horse offsprings by Florencio I were sold for premium prices on auctions. Being 7 years old the dam’s sire De Niro was successful at Grand Prix and his offsprings caused for sensations in breeding and sport. In 2008 he was called the Hanoveranion Stallion of the Year. Alpenfeuer was placed in driving. With Argentinus and the thoroughbred Papi’s Boy xx many more guaranteed performers will follow in next generations.

DAM: By Rotspon

After years of producing quality offspring, in 2017 Rotspon was awarded 'Hanoverian Stallion of the Year' by the Hanoverian Verband in Verden, Germany.

Rotspon is a top quality son of the dressage stallion Rubinstein I. He was the sovereign winner of the Hanoverian stallion performance test in 1998, scoring an excellent 148.82 points in the dressage category. Like his father, Rotspon is a very impressive horse with a great rideability, outstanding movements and a high ability for dressage. He also has a good jumping technique which is above average. He is an elegantly made sire in a noble black coat with a lot of expression and appearance.

Rotspon's son, Rosevelt, competed for Team USA at the 2016 Rio Olympics.  With his rider Allison Brock,  Team USA won Bronze.  Rosevelt also won the 2015 Grand Prix in Wellington, FL and did it again one month later at the Grand Prix CD13*.

The first crop of offspring by Rotspon were born in the year 2000. The foals have beautiful heads and a good conformation (long sloping shoulder, long well set up neck). They are equipped with a very elastic trot and a ground covering walk, and have been very much in demand.  In the 2015, according to the Hanoverian Stallion Book, Rotspon is credited with 888 competition progeny with winnings of €680,105 – 767 dressage placegetters with 80 progeny competing at S level.

In the 2016 Hanoverian book, the progeny stands at 913, with winnings of €759,161. Although he has produced nine horses that have won more than €10,000 in the dressage ring, none are stars. His FN breeding value for dressage is 132, for jumping, 72. His Hanoverian values are 126 for dressage and 80 for jumping.  He is the sire of 17 licensed sons including Rascalino and Royal Blend.
